7 Lagoons of Ausangate Tour

Embark on a mystical journey into the heart of the Andes, where you'll connect with nature at the foot of the majestic Ausangate mountain (6,374m). This route is perfect for those seeking an authentic Andean adventure.
Itinerary: We'll pick you up from your Cusco hotel between 4:30 AM and 5:00 AM. After a scenic 3-hour drive, we'll arrive at the community of Pacchanta (4,200m), nestled at the base of Ausangate. Here, you'll meet the local people, known for their alpaca herding, traditional farming, and expert weaving. Enjoy a hearty breakfast before we embark on our hike through the Andes.
Our trek will take us approximately 5 hours (10 km) as we explore the stunning 7 Lagoons of Ausangate. Surrounded by diverse flora and fauna, you'll be captivated by the breathtaking landscapes. After our hike, we'll return to Pacchanta to relax in the natural hot springs and savor a delicious lunch. Finally, we'll head back to Cusco.
Please allow at least one day to acclimatize to the altitude of Cusco before starting this tour.
